AMBIOLOCK – Poly and Perflouro Alkyl Substances
(PFASs) Source Control

PFAS (Poly-and Perflouro Alkyl Substances), known as “Forever Chemicals” impact hundreds of thousands of sites globally. These toxic chemicals are harmful to human health and the environment, restrict access to water supplies, and can lead to delays and cancellations of commercial and residential developments, and even major government infrastructure projects.

AMBIOLOCK, a proprietary product that controls and manages any existing impacted PFAS source materials through a process of encapsulation and stabilization, is an effective low-cost solution for PFAS contamination.

It’s use of physical binding mechanisms in a stabilized concrete substrate matrix allows for the mitigation of up to 99% PFAS movement long-term and capable of attaining equal or greater compaction strengths in tested mix designs ranging from stabilized sand to 32 MPa concretes. These stabilized concrete substrates created with AMBIOLOCK and PFAS impacted materials can be utilized in the construction of major infrastructure such as roads, bridges, tarmacs, tunnels and more.

The AMBIOLOCK Solution:

  • Sustainable product to efficiently reduce PFAS mobility
  • PFAS risk minimization – minimize human health impacts
  • Significant cost saving options – using recycled materials
  • Viable for several project types – construction or disposal
  • Adaptable to projects underway or in planning phase
